Limited Lifetime Warranty
Snappalm is built from industrial-grade TPU and engineered to last. Snappalm warrants this product against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the practical lifespan of the product.
What is Covered
- Structural failure of the TPU material (e.g., tearing or splitting under normal typing and handling conditions).
- Manufacturing defects that prevent proper mechanical fitment or securing to the intended MacBook model.
What is Strictly Not Covered
- Cosmetic Wear: Normal material degradation, including surface scuffs, changes in the matte texture, or discoloration from skin oils and UV exposure over time.
- Manufacturing Tolerances: Snappalm is engineered for utility. Minor surface variations, tooling marks, or texture shifts—specifically on the underside and mechanical foot-lock—are natural byproducts of the production process. Because they do not compromise structural integrity or fitment, these cosmetic variances are not considered defects.
- Mechanical Break-in: Repeated installation and removal will naturally ease the TPU’s initial fit tension. This break-in process makes the product easier to remove over time but does not compromise its ability to remain secure. A reduction in snap-tension is expected material behavior, not a defect. It is only eligible for a claim if the product freely detaches from the chassis during active use.
- Misuse: Damage from extreme heat, harsh solvents, intentional physical modification, or forced use on incompatible laptop models.
- Loss or Theft.
- Hardware Liability (Third-Party Devices): Snappalm LLC assumes zero liability for any damage to your Apple MacBook Pro or associated hardware. This includes, but is not limited to, screen fractures, hinge degradation, or chassis damage resulting from user error, improper installation, or closing the laptop lid with the product installed. The user assumes all risk.
